VFE Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, joined hands to raise awareness on the Millennium Development goals.

A series of educational series were produced to raise awareness on the MDGs, especially among children and youth. 

Messages explaining what are MDGs, were incorporated in Bakkar Cartoon, which is a special cartoon series, revolving around the popular animated cartoon Bakkar and his friends.

The series was broadcasted on local and satellite television channels. According to an AED survey, the series reached 65% of the Egyptian populatio.
