Madrasty
The award winning project Madrasty aims at providing a better educational environment for children in public primary schools.
In partnership with four NGOs: CARE Egypt, Youth Association for Population and Development (YAPD), Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association (HEPCA), Association for the Development and Enhancement of Women (ADEW), and Hemaya, VFE Foundation renovated 300 schools in 29 Egyptian Governorates.
Madrasty Achievements: - Renovating 300 schools in 29 Egyptian Governorates - Renovating 4,000 classrooms, bathrooms, libraries, and playgrounds - Raising awareness among teachers, and students, on the importance of having a healthy school environment
Madrasty won The ‘Best Community Program Award’
Madrasty Initiative won the best community Program Award in the 5th Corporate Social Responsibility Summit of the Middle East, held in Dubai on June 15th 2008.
