Criteria of Selection
To ensure transparency, VFE Foundation adopts clear-cut criteria for selection, where new projects have to meet the following criteria:

1- Work in one or more of the Foundation’s stated areas of interest
2- Have a clear and well-developed strategy for addressing the area of concern
3- Reach the maximum number of direct beneficiaries
4- Have clear indicators of success ability to provide indicators to measure performance
5- Have Clear monitoring and evaluation system
6- Ensure project sustainability after funding period is over
7- Project should have room for Volunteerism.

Projects addressing any of the following area are considered:
- Education for Children and youth
- Community Development
- ICT for Development and access to communication 
  
NGOs have to submit the following documents:
1- Registration documents with the Ministry of Social Solidarity
2- Internal policy and procedures guide
3- Financial statement of the previous fiscal year
4- Latest technical report
