We’re supporting our community 

Vodafone Egypt Foundation aims at achieving Vodafone’s strategic objective of being a responsible business, and reflecting our core purpose of connecting and developing people and communities, accelerating the advancement of Egypt.

The Foundation was established in 2003 as a Corporate Foundation, registered at the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity. The Foundation acts as a donor, supporting NGOs and civil society organizations to implement developmental project.

Since the inception in 2003,  the Foundation has invested over EGP 100 Million  to help in the development of the Egyptian  community

Foundation’s Objectives
- Expand the impact of Vodafone’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
- Support the local communities
- Provide and share the benefits of ongoing  development in mobile communications technology.
- Partner with civil society organizations, in order to achieve sustainable development
- Reach a wider segment of the Egyptian society, through networking with local NGOs, governmental bodies, United Nations Agencies, and International development Organizations.

Foundation Governance:
The Foundation is registered as a separate legal entity from Vodafone Egypt ( the Founder ) , governed by an independent Board of Trustees.

The board is comprised of a number of prominent figures in the area of development and social work in Egypt.

The board meets at least three times a year to monitor and follow up on the Foundation’s activities as well as to discuss new projects for support and funding.
